Hubby's Birthday - 24 Sep 2014

Every year this month is the most headache month because I have to think of how to celebrate for my hubby's birthday.

This year my idea is to have a small family gathering since my hubby is a family oriented person.

So BBQ - Chalet is my choice.

They have the best bbq food I have eaten. I super love their otah and satay. YUM YUM

Came in the afternoon with my family to check-in to the chalet, collect the food and to do some simple decoration.
I forget to take the BBQ food..... =(

Day 2:

eXplorerkid @ Downtown East - Swimming - BBQ (2nd round)

Bring fat boy to the eXplorerkid @ Downtown East. Lucky we got the free coupon for the chalet booking if not we have to pay for the kids to play in there and there is only ONE play area for toddler.

The place is not very big and the day we went happened to have a few birthday party going on. The problem is the kids there are super rough and keep running here and there. So it is quite dangerous for toddler and pregnant mom like me.

My boy doesn't like riding this, maybe he's too young to appreciate it. lol. Halfway through he wanted to come down and the daddy having fun with it. ^^

I took leave as I was also clearing my leave for this year and have told my hubby to take 1/2 day leave too so we can have a date out.

First activities of the day is to catch a movie at the Platinum Movie Suite @ Cathay Cineleisure.

There are only 8 couple seats in this theater which I like. Once you enter the cinema to your seats, there will be a lady going to each seats and asked if you need blanket and pillow. I book the highest seats which I find the angle is just nice for me.

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant and I only know here got sell my favorite fish liver. Actually I got no idea pregnant can eat that not but I just wanted to eat. Craving~ Hubby order the cold sake also my favorite but this I confirm can't have it so I have to be like a "GHOST" using sniff to satisfy my craving for sake.

Hubby keep calling my crazy. lol

KKH Private Suite

Finally waited for a slot to see a senior gynae in KKH private suite because I do not want any random doctors or midwife to deliver for me (for subsidies patient).

It is better to get a senior gynae to do the stitching as I always told my friends, "tight virginal better than loose virginal". LOL

Senior gynae = Pay more $$$

Anyway I will be choosing 4-bedded room (B1 I think, 1 grade below the 1-bedded). For your information, to have a senior gynae that is the minimum requirement too.

My previous gynae was Dr. K T Tan, which I find she is a bit unfriendly and her consultation super fast but she's very on time for her appointment. This time I wanted to try other senior gynae, so I went google and you can go KKH website to search for doctor's photo. And i get to browse through this doctor, Dr. June Tan. Comment and photo looks good so shall give it a try. But who knows, she is those kind of doctor who choose her patients.

My appointment time was 09:50am and she started seeing her first patient at 09:50am. My husband was like -_-!! (he can't stand making appointment yet have to wait for hours) and really we have to wait for 1.5 hours for our turn and we questioned the doctor here is her reply.

Dr. June Tan:

"Whoever sees me, I have told them that my consultation waiting hours minimum are 1-2 hours (with appointment). If you can't wait, I will advice you to change gynae. Everyday I have to see 80-90 patients, I don't like to rush."

I'm not sure if others can take it for what her reply is but for my hubby and I, we think that it is ridiculous, even the reception nurse also says that June Tan is like that. She takes her own sweet time. Then what's the point of making an appointment? Why other doctor can be more punctual, why can't she? Therefore decided to change another senior gynae. My boss introduced to me Dr. John Tee and I have also make an appointment to see him. Hopefully this is better and more on time as assured from the nurse in private suite too.

Cayto 13th Month Old

My boy learns drinking soup from the bowl himself. so cute..

Have to capture every precious moments of him as kids really grow very fast. So scared to miss out some part of it. Like his teething, his first 8 baby teeth I didn't managed to take photo of it. =(

Teething:

If I never remember wrongly, he grows his teeth as per following months.

6 months - 2 teeth

8-9 months - The rest of the first 8 baby teeth

Walking:

10 months - Learn walking

10-12 months - Lazy. Doesn't want to walk at all

12 months - Suddenly he can walk (Just nice for his birthday)

13 months - Learn to run

2nd Pregnancy & Di Di

After since I had my second pregnancy, I don't believe in looking at the tummy or from your first baby to know the gender of the current one.

Anyway I am having another BABY BOY again. =)

Wanted a girl so I can slow down my pregnancy as my intended number of children are 3 to 4.

But it's okay, Mommy still love you, Di Di.

We went back to KKH for my 2nd pregnancy gynae checkup, just that this time round we get the referral letter from polyclinic. It is so much cheaper than you go KKH yourself, which will consider private. The price is like difference in half (consultation/medication/scan).

But you can change to private when nearer to your due date as I will be choosing a senior gynae to deliver for me. You doesn't want any not that experience doctor or mid-wife or nurse to do the stitching for you if you are having natural birth.

Difference between Referred and Private

Private:

Comfortable waiting area
Better service
Shorter waiting time
Free hot beverage at waiting area
Every visit you sure will have a scan to see your baby growth
Fixed gynae
Cost: $100++ per visit

Difference between in 1st and 2nd

First Pregnancy:

- Symptom -

Eat a lot (Breakfast, Lunch, Tea Break, Dinner and in between as & when I'm hungry), double portion every meal.
No nausea
Doesn't feel heavy at all. Even sometimes will forget I am pregnant

- Appearance -

Black lining in the middle of the tummy

Second Pregnancy:
